Philippine Airlines has announced it will operate more domestic flights from Cebu and Clark to Busuanga, Catarman, and Siargao.
The Philippine flag carrier announced it will increase its flights from four weekly to daily between Clark and Busuanga (Coron) from March 1. Philippine Airlines will continue to operate its 86-seat De Havilland Dash 8-400 Next Generation aircraft on the route.
With the additional flight frequencies on the Clark-Busuanga route, Philippine Airlines will offer a total of 42 weekly flights to Busuanga. The airline operates three daily flights from Manila and twice-daily from Cebu.
From Clark, Philippine Airlines operates daily flights to Cebu, three-weekly to Siargao, four weekly to Basco (Batanes), and seasonal direct flights to Seoul-Incheon (until March 4).
New Flights from Cebu to Catarman, Additional Cebu-Siargao Flights
Philippine Airlines will boost its network from its hub at Cebu with the addition of a new route between Cebu and Catarman, and an increase of flights from Cebu to Siargao.
From March 1, Philippine Airlines will launch its new thrice-weekly service from Cebu to Catarman – the capital of Northern Samar in the Philippines' East Visayas region. Using De Havilland Dash 8-400 Next Generation aircraft, the Cebu-Catarman flights will boost the airline's services to the city where it currently operates four weekly flights from Manila.
In addition to the new route between Cebu and Catarman, Philippine Airlines will increase its flights with two more weekly flights on its Cebu-Siargao route. The additional flights will bring the total number of flights offered by the airline on the route to 18 weekly.
Along with the Cebu-Siargao route, Philippine Airlines operates two daily flights from Manila and three weekly flights from Clark.
“Philippine Airlines is happy to upgrade services to Catarman through this new link from Cebu. Samar residents and travelers will now have better access to Cebu, and the new route will also give Cebuanos more options to visit Northern Samar,” said PAL Express President Rabbi Ang. “The new Cebu hub services to Catarman and Siargao are part of our continuing commitment to enhance inter-island connectivity, boosting tourism and stimulating business.”
